Our Mission
After years of exploring and reviewing Toronto's playgrounds, our sense of adventure finally outgrew our area code. And as our kids started approaching the end of their peak playgrounding years, we made an important decision: we want to explore this country with them.

From August 15 to October 29, 2026, we made our way across the country in two trips: from Toronto to PEI and back in August, and from Toronto to Vancouver to Whitehorse and back in the fall. Along the way, we shared it all: the land, the history, the roadside surprises, and the playgrounds worth the detour.

As we traveled, we raised more than $6000 for the Jumpstart Charity, a fantastic organization that helps bring accessible play to Canadian communities from coast to coast.

Our Trip, Part 1: East
In August 2026 we did an 8-day sprint to Prince Edward Island and back.

Ioniq 9 - Built to Belong
Thanks to Hyundai Canada, we made our way to Prince Edward Island in what might be the ultimate family EV: the IONIQ 9. We've been an EV-only family since 2020, owned two different brands and test-driven many more, and I can tell you: the IONIQ 9 is absolutely top-tier in terms of comfort, practicality, and value for money. Read my final thoughts on this vehicle here.
Our Trip, Part 2: West + North
In September-October 2026 we went west to Vancouver Island, flew in to the Yukon, returned to Vancouver and headed back to Toronto.
